Your organization benefits when you encourage employees or group members to volunteer at The Aliveness Project. Many successful organizations across the Twin Cities understand and leverage this value. Our volunteer opportunities allow you to increase team engagement, teamwork, communication and sense of purpose for your group.
Studies show that employees who participate in volunteer programs think more highly of their employers and recommend their employers more to others. And volunteerism increases public awareness and goodwill toward your organization.
The Aliveness Project offers many opportunities for groups to volunteer together. Food Drives for our food shelf, maintenance projects like painting, cleaning or organizing, or assembly –line type projects like assembling the newsletter are all great projects for groups. Groups with specialized professional skills can help develop marketing plans or IT projects.
In April we host our major annual fundraiser, Dining Out for Life. We use hundreds of volunteer Ambassadors to help host at area restaurants. In November and December we have Holiday Baskets, and numerous opportunities for groups to adopt baskets, wrap gifts and bake cookies among other activities.
