Help spread holiday cheer with The Aliveness Project during the annual Holiday Gift Program, December 14-18th. This year, the Holiday Gift Program is semi-virtual, and goes for a whole week! Members residing in the Twin Cities are encouraged to collect their winterwear (hats, scarves, gloves and socks), stockings, cookies, etc. in person at the Aliveness Project. Folks who live outside of the Twin Cities will be mailed a gift. Lastly, instead of congregating, we will have virtual events all week long!
Due to the ongoing pandemic, any member who lives outside of the Twin Cities is eligible to receive a mailed gift, including a holiday stocking with some treats inside (limit one per household); any member who lives in the Twin Cities, but is homebound due to illness or physical ability is eligible for delivery of winterwear, PPE, cookies, etc. Everyone else is encouraged to come to The Aliveness Project. Giveaway & Party Set Up/Tear Down
Set-up tables, fill tables with toys and winter accessories, and decorate the space.
Monday, December 21
Inventory and box up all leftover winterwear, toys, other items and tear down tables.
Help members check-in, “shop” for winter weather wear in a socially distanced way, or serve hot chocolate and coffee to members while they wait.
Deliver Holiday Gifts
Shifts*: On the hour, from 8:00 AM – 11:00 am and 4pm-6pm
*each shift is 2-3 hours depending on delivery area
Deliver gifts to members in the Twin Cities metro area who are mobility impaired or unable to attend the Holiday Giveaway & Party due to medical issues. Choose your preferred area/neighborhood, pick up gifts at The Aliveness Project, and make 2-5 deliveries. Enjoy some snacks on us!
-New winterwear items: hats, waterproof gloves, scarves, and wool socks. The biggest need is for items in adult sizes large and extra-large in neutral colors, such as black, blue, green, and brown. All items should be unwrapped. Please have all winter accessory items to The Aliveness Project by Wednesday, December 11 at the latest.
-Target or Cub gift cards as giveaways. ($25 dollars each)
-If you would like to donate monetarily, simply indicate your donation is for the Holiday Gift Program.

-Tuesdays-Thursdays: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Please ring the bell and someone will collect your donations “curbside”.
