A+ Peer
Support Group

A+ is a peer lead discussion group that meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month. A+ is open to all people living with HIV. Our topics vary from coping with your diagnosis and health, how to access resources provided by The Aliveness Project and affiliated agencies, and most importantly building community. A+ gives people living with HIV the space and support to discuss all aspects of their lives. Including the powerful interactions between individuals who have lived with HIV or AIDS for 30 or 20 years sharing their stories with newly diagnosed clients, and showing them that we can live long, productive, happy lives. Younger clients have shared that they have appreciated hearing the history and changes that have occurred since HIV was discovered in June of 1981. We have witnessed the positive results of developing A+ and the potential of what the future holds for us.

A+ meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday from 1:30pm -3:00pm at The Aliveness Project located at 3808 Nicollet Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55409.
