Our Part-Time Every Penny Counts (EPC) Program Assistant will work with a team of folks providing limited emergency financial assistance for rent, utilities, food, and medical care for individuals living with HIV in Minnesota. The person in this position will be working onsite 100% of the time.
The Medical Assistant / Licensed Practical Nurse (MA/LPN) is a vital member of our patient care team, supporting high-quality, stigma-free healthcare services for individuals receiving PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis), HIV testing, HIV treatment, gender-affirming care, and related sexual health services. The MA/LPN provides compassionate, culturally responsive care while supporting providers in delivering exceptional clinical services.
This role focuses on clinical support duties including rooming patients, vital signs, medication administration (within scope of practice), phlebotomy, specimen collection and processing, patient education, administrative support, and community engagement. The MA/LPN plays an essential role in creating a seamless, welcoming experience for every patient.
