About The Aliveness Project

Everyone should have the opportunity to lead a healthy, self-directed life, and people living with HIV should not feel stuck, isolated, or stigmatized.

The Aliveness Project was founded as a community center for and driven by people living with HIV. For over 30 years, we have been facilitating connection to community, offering nutrition & wellness services, and linking our members to resources to lead fulfilling & healthy lives.

“The Aliveness Project is a place where seeds of hope are planted. It took me 9.5 years as a member to grasp that concept….now I am ready to start bearing fruit.”

"Aliveness is a great community to be part of. As a volunteer, there are tons of great opportunities for me to give back to a community I care about. I know that what I am doing is making a difference, and the members and staff remind me of that everytime I'm here.

– Reed
